New WP (2.6) on the way already?
I was talking to a designer-friend in the week and we were discussing WordPress 2.5, when I actually predicted that WP 2.6 won’t be too far off, as I see 2.5 as being the stepping-stone version… I think it was important for the WordPress crew to push out the redesign with a few new features ASAP and then immediately start building all the other new features (whatever they are) into 2.6, which won’t be far off. And then judging by Ryan Boren’s post, I was pretty much spot-on in my predictions!
What additional new features would you predict for 2.6? Or perhaps you got a wishlist?

WordPress Screencasts & RC2
I just downloaded Matt’s screencast, which showcases some of the new features in WP 2.5. Even though I’m yet to watch the video, I think the idea of doing more screencasts (as Matt mentions they might) in future, will be pretty good for WordPress in general - since most people are stronger visually and will thus be able to learn about WP more efficiently.

Update: I just watched it and the image galleries looks pretty insane! Looking forward to the official release of 2.5.

oDesk’s growth makes them market leaders
Sure, sure… oDesk is an advertiser here on adii.co.za, so I’ll always give them coverage (but just because I get the scoop everytime!). Along with the launch of their oConomy a while back, they’ve just redesigned their website, which is looking really swish!
What’s even more impressive, is that $25m USD has exchanged hands on the platform, which must make them the market leaders in the freelance platform business!? What do you think?
