Corporate Adii: R.I.P. (For Now Anyway…)
As I promised earlier today - I have quite a big announcement to make and I can finally let the cat out of the bag, after having had to delay this announcement for about a week… After spending a great two months being a full-time employee in a corporate environment, I have decided to call it quits and have resigned with effect as of tomorrow. Something within my heart changed about two weeks ago and ever since, my heart and mind has not been in the space of being an employee.
One of the big reasons for delaying this decision for so long, is that I had to consider a lot of different factors on a variety of levels. I can also admit that this has been one of the most complex decisions I’ve had to make to date, but ultimately this is also part of my personal growth and development.
This decision however also brings along a lot of excitement, as I will be starting a new chapter in my career. For the immediate future, nothing will change with regards to my online operations, as I will focus the next two weeks on releasing as many new Premium News themes as possible (yes - Kineda Inspiration is coming!) and also reviving my freelance business. After that, I will be formalizing my freelance operations into a legal entity (more of which I will share later), which means I will also start defining the journey I’ll be embarking on (hopefully you’ll be there with me!).
Before I finish off this post, I’d like to express my sincere thanks to my boss (who would’ve been a great mentor) and everyone at the company - this decision doesn’t reflect my relationships with them in any way and I’d recommend the company to any new employee! But for now, I’ve closed the chapter on my corporate career… I will however definitely be back in the future, as I’ve always wanted to run my own corporation…
Keep reading if you’d like to know how the next chapter in my online journey begins!
